![]() ![]() There are currently three quickbuy panels: the Consumables tab, the Boots tab and the Inventory tab. Quickbuy panels can be pinned open and allow the player to quickly access commonly purchased items. The Quickbuy Panels are located to the left of the shop screen and are used to display items like potions, elixirs, wards, trinkets, and boots. They can also be set up to be usable by all or specific champions and on all or specific maps. These can be edited in the Collection tab in the League client.Ĭustom sets can have as many categories, items per category, and combinations of items as the player wishes. The purchase button is also located here, although double and right-clicking on an item can and often are used as shortcuts.Ĭustom Item sets are usually used by experienced players who have a tailored set of items that they wish to have rapid access to for a given champion. Its selection will be preserved between shopping sessions, so it can be used to 'bookmark' an item for future purchase. The Highlighted Item occupies the right of the screen and displays the currently selected item and any relevant information about it, such as the prerequisite items that are needed to buy it, which items it is a prerequisite of, and the item's attributes-including its stats, named item effects and its gold cost. Only one item of this tier can be carried at a time. Mythic This item provides substantial passive benefits along with a powerful special effect. Legendary This item provides a special effect and substantial passive benefits. Some items are based on the Legendary item that they are later built into. Epic This item provides a special effect and/or passive benefit. Basic This item provides some meager benefit. At game start, champions are usually provided with enough gold to buy a few items. Starter This item is designed as an ideal starting item, usually with some form of sustain. There is a rigid categorization that sorts items based on quality tiers. There are more specific filters that sort items by the passive stat they grant. This can be exceptionally useful for newer players who are inexperienced with a champion and can use the recommended items as an indicator of how they are usually played. These are items grouped by the developers as the most useful purchases for their class over the course of a game. Upon first being opened, the shop will by default display a class tab for the champion the player is using. It will recognize not only the names of items, but also their descriptions, any statistics that can be offered, and common nicknames for certain items (for example, typing in 'bt' will result in The Bloodthirster typing 'tons of damage' will result in Trinity Force). The search bar is an important feature of the tab that allows rapid parsing of items for quicker and more fluid purchasing. ![]() There are also items that can only be bought by a group of champions, like Runaan's Hurricane. Champions without the Smite spell cannot buy jungling items and champions with jungling items cannot buy support items. However, not all items shown in the shop are available to be bought. Items which are not available on the current map or game mode on will not appear in the shop. Otherwise, the icon will be greyed out and unusable if these conditions are not met.Īn item can have item group limitation, giving the item a "unique" tag that prohibits purchase of duplicates and other items with the same tag, excluding purchases that consume the item via upgrading. ![]() The Undo button can be used to revoke a purchase or sale provided the champion has not since left the vicinity of the shop, has not entered combat, or the item in question has not activated. Purchases and sales can be undone with the Undo button. The champion must be in proximity of the shop for the player to obtain items on Classic-styled maps, the fountain has a dedicated shop for the team's exclusive use.Īn item can be sold to the shop, typically for 70% of the item's gold value. A player can access the shop interface by either clicking it directly with the mouse cursor, by clicking on the gold counter on the HUD or by pressing the associated hotkey (default P). ![]()
